Liberty Victoria is one of Australia’s leading human rights and civil liberties organisations, tracing their history back to 1936 and campaigning for human rights for over 70 years. Liberty Victoria works to defend and extend human rights and freedoms in Victoria, believing in a society based on the democratic participation of all its members and the principles of justice, openness and the right to dissent.
