The Victorian Perinatal Emergency Referral Service provides maternity care organisations with a coordinated, timely and safe approach to facilitating perinatal emergency transfers to appropriate facilities, accessing key obstetric and neonatal resource information and accessing expert clinical advice about perinatal emergency situations.
The Victorian Perinatal Emergency Referral Service (PERS) is functionally and physically co-located with the Victorian Newborn Emergency Transport Service (NETS) to provide the most appropriate expert emergency advice and care before or after a birth.
The PERS website, powered by Komodo CMS, was launched on July 31, 2007.
